Hi! I am Katie Milburn, also known as Kurnsie. I know, I know, where does Kurnsie come from?  It's a college nickname that stuck around.

 

I am an Art Director, Graphic Designer, and Project Manager based near Columbus working on branding, visual identities, and editorial design. Ever since I was on my junior high yearbook staff, I have been in love with layouts and design. Since then, I've pursued ways to bring visual communication to life–marrying creativity with problem-solving.

I bring over 20 years of experience in creative roles specializing in print and digital design within agency, in-house, start-up, and freelance environments. I collaborate with clients and fellow team members to develop and amplify brand messaging in a clear and modern way. My skill set includes a strong knowledge of studio fundamentals including the Adobe Suite, production, and art direction, with a focus on comprehensive project management and fulfillment.  And I have worked with multiple industries, including but not limited to agriculture, furniture, commercial real estate, B2B/B2C, finance, jewelry/fashion, education, non-profit, and retail. And I am always curious to learn more.
